Cause: The document was opened in an earlier version of Word or in any Windows version of Word.
| Solution: Export the recorded audio as a separate file for use in other programs. |

On the View menu, click Notebook Layout.

On the Tools menu, point to Audio Notes, and then click Export Audio.
