is no longer developing Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X. There are no plans to provide future updates or product support for this application. As an alternative to Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X, you can use the Windows Media Components for QuickTime, by Flip4Mac. With Windows Media Components for QuickTime, you can play Windows Media
files (.wma and .wmv) directly in QuickTime Player
and view Windows Media
content on the Internet by using a Web browser, such as Safari.
