Change the text size for incoming messages

You can change the text size of incoming messages for viewing in open message windows or in the reading pane.

  1. At the bottom of the navigation paneThe left pane of the main Outlook window. In Mail view, the navigation pane displays the folder list. In Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes views, the navigation pane lets you show and hide items from your category list., click Mail Mail view button.

  2. In the message list, select a message.

  3. On the Format menu, click Increase Font Size or Decrease Font Size.

  • The keyboard shortcut for increasing font size is ++. The keyboard shortcut for decreasing font size is +-.

  • This procedure also applies to sent messages and saved drafts.
